USG

General questions can be aksed are:

Q. 1st Investigation of choice in 30 yr old women presented with lump in breast?

If a young lady < 35 year old presents with lump in breast then first investigation should be done is USG.

Because in young women breast are dense & glandular so sensitivity of low so USG is preferred over Mammography.

Q. At what age screening should be done for carcinoma of breast?

In >40 year old lady Mammography once in year & after age of 50 twice in a year.

But If women carry a high risk suspicion (Family history strong & BRCA mutation) then MRI is preferred.
