Ans. (a) Unicornuate uterus
The HSG shows congenital malformation of uterus showing a uni-cornuate uterus. It occurs due to arrested mullerian duct development.
Others:
1. Arcuate uterus – Normal variant and does not lead to infertility. It has a near complete absorption of utero- vaginal wall.
2. Bicomuate uterus- The angle formed by the medial borders of two hemicavities > 105°
3. Septate uterus- A septated uterus (angle formed by the medial borders of two hemicavities <60°)
4. Uterus Didelphys- Two separate uterine cavities and two separate endocervical canals.
